I am part of a quiz team, the manipulative pandas that participates in the wellington pub quiz in Birmingham city centre on a Sunday evening. This evening, quiz teams members, James and Matt hosted the quiz

The quiz had an over arching theme, which took us from a journey from life to death via iron maiden and very expensive donkey milk from Serbia.

The quiz was fiendishly difficult, but was equally difficult for everybody and so everyone appreciated it as different from the norm.

I especially enjoyed James telling everybody to get on with their lives once the quiz was over, in an abrupt and poetic end to proceedings.
